You can edit your Master Catalog too, as well as access the info & feedback screen. |
My Packing List
Select or edit any of your packing lists. Rename/redate, rearrange or delete them. From here, you can also recover previously deleted lists, or create brand new ones.

Create New List (name & date)
Pick any name and departure date for your new list. Create as many lists as you want, for any occasion.

Restore Deleted Packing List
Restore any previously deleted packing list if you have any second thoughts, or delete it forever.

Packing List
View items on your list, and check off items that you have already prepared and/or packed. A running tally for each category shows how many of the subtotal have already been packed. Collapsable categories (with memory) also provide easy navigation and less scrolling. Send completed lists to email from here as well.

Packing List (Edit)
Add, delete, rename or reorder packing list items (or even categories) as you wish. Popup tool bar features include Check All, Uncheck All, Sort, Totals and Send to Email.

Swipe to Delete
In regular (non-edit) mode, simply swipe your finger across an item from left to right to call up a delete confirmation button. Save time, and keep your check marks and numbers visible, with this feature.

Packing List (Sort)
Configure the app to show only items that are still unpacked, or only those that are packed, or all of them together. Also, you can sort these items automatically and alphabetically by Type, by Item, or of course, by hand.

Multi-item Select
Quickly build or add to your packing list by selecting multiple items, types or even categories from the Master Catalog, and then add them all to your packing list at the same time.

Item Detail Page
View and edit the type, name or number of items, as well as any specific weight (with sub-unit accuracy), value (with various currencies), note or description for that item.
|
Calculate Totals
Automatically calculate the weight and value totals of each packing list category, as well as the entire packing list.
|
Send to Email
Once you've completed your packing list, feel free to email it to yourself, your family or other fellow travelers.

Catalog Editing
Create you own Categories, Types and Items if you can't find them on Packing's list of hundreds of pre-configured items. Add them permanently to the Master Catalog for easy reuse, and rearrange, rename or delete any other pre-existing or user-defined Categories, Types or Items that you wish to fully customize the Master Catalog to your liking. Restore deleted Categories, as well as the entire Master Catalog, if desired.

Edit Category
Rename or choose another icon for any existing or user-defined categroy.

Select Icon
Choose from a selection of dozens of friendly icons that can help you better identify and describe the category in question.

Restore Deleted Category
Restore any previously deleted category to your active Master Catalog, or delete it permanently from the app.

Types List
Each Master Catalog Category has several Types, and each Type has several Items (3-tier tree structure).

Edit Item
You can edit the name of any Item (or Type or Category) in the Master Catalog, or even create your own.

Restore Master Catalog
Restore a previously replaced Master Catalog, or even revert to the default Master Catalog shipped with the most recent update. You can do the same with any deleted Master Catalog Category as well.

IMPORT & EXPORT CONTENT

Import / Export
Import or export any packing list, or any packing list category, as well as any catalog category, or even the entire Master Catalog. This content can be shared between apps (i.e. Packing to Packing Pro) and between devices (i.e. iPhone to iPhone, iPod Touch to iPhone, etc, with the help a free 3rd party Contact record syncer, like "Mover").

Export Catalog Content
Export catalog content to 'backup' customized and/or translated work, as well as to share your work with others (i.e. foreign language versions of specific categories, or entire Master Catalog).

Import Catalog Content
Import customized content from your other packing app, or from a friend.
|
Import Packing Lists
Share packing lists (or parts) between friends and family. Also, add list categories to existing packing lists, or build new packing lists modularly from scratch.
